In 2017 during San Francisco Pride QMP held a collective mikveh: Pride Mikveh at Baker Beach, a historically queer meeting place. Remedios Cantu facilitated our ritual. Lukaza Branfman Verissimo offered an Object Mikveh, collecting individual stories of items people brought and supporting their transformation through art and mikveh. Nicki Green led us in an internal fermentation prayer and mikveh with pickles she made. We completed the ritual by entering the ocean in a collective mikveh. Emma Deboncouer attended this mikveh and she is pictured here in honor of her life and memory.
